Karl, you blew up the pearl! I absolutely adored the loosely twisted low buns, bound together with an oversized pearl, at Chanel‘s spring showing. So elegant, simple and easy to replicate . . . just pull it all together with a half drilled pearl attached to an elastic tie.
I never really was a pearl girl until this season. Every where I look I see more and more items with pearls and it’s taking on such a classy, romantic vibe. Love it.

I have a pair of pearl earrings that I just love. They are classic.
I WAS NEVER A PEARL PERSON EITHER BECAUSE THEY ARE JUST TOO CLASSY, BUT I DO RESPECT THEM. I HAVE A NECKLACE SOMEWHERE THAT I GOT FROM MY GRANDMOTHER, BUT I THINK I NEVER WORE IT. ACTUALLY ITS VERY RARE BUT I DO NOT LIKE THESE HUGE NECKLACES FROM CHANEL SS, THEY JUST DONT LOOK SPECIAL ENOUGH FOR KARL’S HANDS, IN FACT I BOUGHT ONE LAST SUMMER AT IT LOOKED A LOT LIKE THE SILVER ONE.

Oversized pearls make so much more of a statement than the regular ones! Usually I don’t really like the dainty string of pearls as a necklace but these are great.
