These teased updos, photographed backstage at Clements Ribeiro, are right up my low maintenance alley. Give one half of a thick headband a full twist, slip it on over an unfussy pile, add some color to the lips, and you are good to go!
We can’t think of a more romantic do than a pretty crown of plaits, especially with Valentine’s Day just around the corner. For those of you that may be intimidated by this seemingly complex style, […]
After spotting these gold striped nails on jewelry designer Anna Sheffield‘s Instagram, I knew I had to recreate it. All it took was a little bit of research online, where I discovered something called nail […]
Love this! When we were in grade school my girlfriends and I would cut up out black tights and make them into headbands, it’s time to cut up some new tights.
I love this look. I have tried it a number of times recently. Somehow, though, even though I am aiming for retro, I always end up looking more urban. I don’t get it. Maybe my hair just doesn’t stay teased well enough.
Oooh like the idea of this easy, relaxed hairstyle. Definitely one for the warmer months! Think it would be quite nice to add a little something to the band!
i just love headbands, there’s something about them…. probably the fact that they show off the face more. but this definitely makes me wanna wear them much much more!

I’m letting my hair grow out so this look will definitely make it easier with my curls! Thanks for the tip!
I love the messy buns sticking out of the headbands. That last shot on the runway is amazing.
