Sleepy Chick

If you’ve wandered through Le Jardin des Plantes recently, you may have stumbled upon a larger-than-life topiary in the shape of a sleeping bird. It’s quite possibly the most charming structure of its kind, with its green bulbous belly, bright yellow beak, and bamboo feet. Poussin Endormi, or Sleepy Chick, is part of children’s literature author and illustrator Claude Ponti’s second topiary exhibition in the oldest and largest botanical garden in Nantes, France. Just too cute! Oh, and I should mention that this is one of the many articles I’m contributing to Conde Nast Traveler. Be sure to check out my weekly articles, inspired by my travels! xx

  3. I just love this topiary. I saw it posted somewhere else, and shared it on my FB page @EdenCondensed. So great to see the scale of it and the other views. Thanks!

to make your campaign a great success. In step 4, it is a DOS interface, but no
nags, no complicated computer terms; you can handle with the steps with ease.
Will your Metal Magic formula leech mercury from my dental fillings, shrinking the
size of the fillings and making them small enough so that they could actually fall
    out of my head altogether.
