Honestly WTF

Liselotte Watkins

Posted by on

You may have noticed by now, I love fashion illustrations. They combine my two favorite things: fashion and art. So after discovering the amazing work of Liselotte Watkins, it was love at first sight. Her unique style was first noticed by Barneys, who hired her to illustrate beauty ads every Sunday for The New York Times. Since then, she has worked with some of the biggest names in fashion such as Elle, Vogue, The New Yorker, Miu Miu, H&M, and Anna Sui. Lisolette’s ladies are confident, sassy, and whimsical . . . so inspiring!

Through blogging I’ve come across some many fashion illustrators and I love ones that find a unique and defined style. I think Liselotte’s pursed bow lips could be her signature!

These are so representative of the fashion world I feel! They are odd and unsual and totally gorgous with an amazing attention to detail and that whimsical ambiance.

I thought this looked familiar, and then I realized she’s the one who illustrated the Bloglovin girl that’s on almost every blog I’ve seen! all in the lips, for sure. sick work.
