Polish painter Justyna Kopania‘s latests series of sailboats and ships has rendered me speechless. The heavy, flat strokes, depicting reflections and dimensions, make her work so distinctive. I love how the boats seem to be gliding away while the birds look to be flying off the canvas. I could stare at these all day!

Beautiful!

Ah! I have seen these paintings before and they are truly amazing. I love the use of the (what I can assume) palette knife to create the movement of the sails and the ships and the illusion of ropes.
