You’ve missed the 24th April 1974 Revolution. It was a revolution in Portugal without shots. An old lady offered some red carnations flowers to the militars and they put the flowers at the top of their guns
instead of shooting with them. The whole revolution was really pacific but it has changed the country and Portugal became much more “free of speach” with it
