Bisovsky’s Frida

Posted by on

Viennese fashion designer Susanne Bisovsky‘s collection is a tribute of her country’s traditional costume, tracht, and the great Frida Kahlo. Her photographic series is currently on exhibit at the Kunsthalle Wien museum in Vienna until January 2013. The styling, the craftsmanship, and the art direction are so rich in detail that I’d love to see it all in person.

I love Frida Kahlo art. I am so inspired by her by her tenacity to live her life to the fullest inspite of her horrible injuries. She also lived according to her own convictions and not those of society. She was a powerful and beautiful woman.
